What are a few things you like to do when you’re not working?
“I love anything that has to do with being outdoors (hiking, camping, kayaking, etc.) and anything that has to do with food (cooking, baking, etc.). I also enjoy reading, being a home barista, and watching movies.”
What was your lightbulb moment when it came to video?
“Although I'm not usually involved with the making & editing of the videos per se, I think the first time I really saw the potential of video was when the online course we produced for Shelter Institute basically went viral last year. Out of nowhere, there were people from all over the world sharing how much the course inspired and helped them. Video was the thing that made that a possibility. It's crazy.”
What’s a personal accomplishment you’re proud of?
“I planned and hosted a multi-course dinner for friends with over 12 separate dishes. I also make really good chocolate chip cookies. :)”
What’s a topic you can’t talk enough about?
“Coffee! I worked at a third-wave coffee shop for about two years and it became a love of mine. (Here's a little shout-out to Philter Coffee in Kennett Square.)”
What’s the best meal you’ve ever had?
“A few come to mind, but the winner has to be the Israeli meal we had at Zahav in Philly – hummus, salatim, brisket, and more...if you haven't been, you must go.”
What’s something people should know about you?
“I'm an outgoing introvert. I love being around people and I can be quite social in the right environment, but at heart I'm 100% introverted and need alone time to recharge.”
What’s a funny story that you’ll never be able to live down?
“Too many to name. The most infamous probably has to be the time in 7th grade that I ran full-force into someone while playing a game of dodgeball and my eye socket came into direct contact with their shoulder blade. A very swollen black eye ensued. (It looked like someone put a golf ball under my eyelid.)”
What’s the worst fashion or hair decision you’ve ever made?
“Speaking of that black eye, I thought that the best way to hide it would be to comb my hair so that it would completely cover half of my face. Then later, when the swelling went down and the bruise turned all shades of green, I decided I would just put green eyeshadow on the other eye so that they would match. (Why didn't I just use concealer??? The world will never know.)”
What’s your Enneagram number?
“I am a 9 wing 8, and it describes just about everything you need to know about me, haha.”
